The
Prophetic Movement
I’ve had many questions both locally and online, about why I do not
support and in fact teach against the prophetic movement. So
I have listed five basic reasons (there are many more) why I warn
against the prophetic movement. Here is the list starting
with number five:
5. Generational curse theology is a control mechanism that
runs on fear and guilt. But the Bible says: “For God hath not
given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love and of a sound
mind.” 2 Tim 1:7
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit."
Rom 8:1 "There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby
we must be saved." That name is Jesus the Christ, the Son of
God. "It's Christ in you the hope of glory." Col
1:27 Your only hope of glory is Christ in you. "Not
by works of righteousness that we have done but, but according to his
mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the
Holy Ghost." Tit 3:5
4. They are working to build a physical army (Joel' Army) to
take the world by force. They believe Christ CAN'T come back
until they have subdued Satan and rule the world.
Jesus has defeated Satan. The bible
speaks of Jesus coming "as a thief in the night." 1 Thes
5:2 Jesus said his kingdom not of this
world. John 18:36
3. The focus is wholly on performance based religion. But the Bible
says: ”For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not
of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works,
lest any man should boast." Eph 2:8-9
2. Inviting spirits, drumming ceremonies, psychic prophets,
angels shedding feathers, angels giving jewels, seventh heaven
anointing oil, God might show up if we do things right. All
these are practices that come out of spiritualism and
witchcraft. The Bible says: 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion
hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with
Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the
temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and
walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my
people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will
receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and
daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
1. There is a fundamental dishonesty about the purpose of the
"church." The smiley public side of the coin is
about being cool, casual and accepting different viewpoints. The
private side is about greed, exclusivity and
control. Their modern psychic prophets
claim to supersede the written word of God. There is no
attempt to "rightly divide the Word of truth." There is an
effort to try not to seem too Christian, avoiding Christian
jargon. Under the guise of being “relevant” they avoid
quoting scripture or talking about the bible, but just socialize to
draw people in.” But the Bible says:
Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel
of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it
is written, the just shall live by
faith.
May God be true and every man a liar.
