God vs. Science
The news
media loves to tout the conflict between God and science. God has
no problem with science. Everything that scientists have
discovered was designed and created by God. Where do you think
the inspiration of discovery comes from? Of course technology can
be and is used to kill. But stop and think about the first person
to ever use something round as a wheel. That stroke of
inspiration started the progressive revelation that ended in a printing
press that printed the bible in languages of the common people.
You can believe it was an accident if you want to but I don't.
Whether we are locked in a cell in the dark or in a well furnished
laboratory the choice of good and evil exists.
The
computer you are reading this on can be used both to bless and to
curse. We chose how we use it. The same machine and internet
contains both instructions for bomb building and the Word of God that
is searchable in many languages and can be accessed by millions of
people. We choose our source of instruction and inspiration.
God
has no conflict with science. In their arrogance some scientists
just fail to understand the deep source of their limited
knowledge. "For by him were all things created, that are in
heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by
him all things consist." Colossians 1: 16, 17
All pretty much means all.
